What I liked

The people that I worked with were really great, and the schedule was really flexible which worked well with finishing up school and transitioning into the summer.

What I wish was different

There was a lot of change that was happening and turnover of managers and employees, so I wish there had been a bit more stability.

Advice

I would say to just set boundaries and know your limits to make sure you don’t burn yourself out.

What I liked

It really helped me gain with customer service skills, and my personality. I had to help multiple people at once with their orders and it forced me to excel in my work ethic; there were some days that I wanted to take off because of family events, but I couldn't because I was scheduled to work.

What I wish was different

The pay wasn't that great for the amount of work I had to do, but it was still a great job.

Advice

Learn how to multitask, don't just do one thing or learn how to be hands-on and work with your co-workers as a team.

I wasn’t just working one position, I could work wherever I wanted to in the restaurant and the hours were flexible. I also spent some time training employees at a different location as well.

The communication amongst employees.

It has really helped me to understand the restaurant business and how much is put into it. Respect others and they will respect you.

Fast paced restaurant environment. Mix of working in a team and independently.

Sole accountability comes down to one person - anything that's good is considered because of me but everything bad is also because of me in the boss's eyes. Closing responsibilities are overwhelming.
