The team I worked with was fantastic and very helpful with any questions or problems I encountered. It was a very laid-back atmosphere yet everyone was very productive. I got a great amount of experience out of this job and learned a lot about the profession, there really wasn't anything more I could've wanted for my first accounting job!
What I wish was different
This summer was a relatively dry season for this audit team, and I left right before the start of the busy season. Sometimes we ran out of work to do, but that wasn't really a bad problem to have. I wish I caught some of busy season just to experience travelling to job sites and see what my work was really doing on-site.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions! I know it can feel like you're being annoying as the intern bothering the people above you, but they're happy to help. You have to remember that the work you do is a big help to your team as all of the time you put into something is time they would've had to spend doing the same thing.

What I liked
I really enjoyed the experience of getting into the real world and seeing how what I’ve learned translates over.
What I wish was different
I wish it was a little bit easier orientation process. However, I was the first one in the new process so I was the tester.
Advice
Always be open to work in any field, you never know what you might like.
