What I liked
I liked how I was able to help another individual navigate college. It can be a very overwhelming experience, especially as a First Generation student. These students had a better idea of the various campus resources available to them towards the end. This knowledge will come in handy whenever something comes up throughout their undergraduate years.
What I wish was different
I wish we had more in person events. This experience was remote due to Covid. However, I was able to learn skills necessary for remote work.
Advice
Never be afraid to go above and beyond for these students. The help will truly change their college experience.
