I really like the work culture. The employees here treat you like family and they are just very motivating at all times. When you are stuck, you could just reach out for help to anyone at anytime and then there is a whole bunch of them who would want to lend a helping hand. Overall, very supportive and encouraging and it has been a great learning so far.
What I wish was different

Advice
Our coursework might not include learning of all tools used in the workplace. So I would say it would be great if you could brush through some of your skills from the past before starting to work here. Also, good if you know Salesforce and some Data Integration (ETL)!

What I liked
The culture of BTH is unrivaled compared to places that I have worked in the past. The work itself is challenging but highly informative and provides an experience that is not taught in a university education. The people are all encouraging and want you to know that they care for you and want to guide you to be the best and most knowledgeable individual that you can.
What I wish was different
Nothing, this experience has surpassed what I though it would be from the beginning.
Advice
Salesforce and other software/tools used by BTH are not really taught in most university education so be prepared to broaden your horizons and learn a lot of new skills. However, BTH does provide a great pathway to be able to obtain this knowledge and the only part left to you is to follow the path.

What I liked
I liked the environment and atmosphere at Beyond the Horizon (BTH). It's very relaxed and friendly, with senior employees willing to help at all times. I was placed in the Software Development team and received adequate training to work on projects.
Since BTH is really a startup, you will get a feeling that the work you do adds tremendous value to the company and gives you a sense of ownership.

Advice
BTH uses tools such as Salesforce that’s usually aren’t taught at a university class. So you must be willing to learn about new technologies but don’t be afraid to ask questions.

What I liked
The work culture at BTH is extremely good, it is a wonderful learning curve for people who want to delve in to the world of data.Since it is a startup and people have been working for a long term ,BTH treats their employees like family. Since they are a salesforce partner organization they encourage individuals with salesforce skills in their arsenal.

You must have the urge to learn as you will be learning from ETL tools to CRMS to various different database handling techniques.
