What I liked

Gave me great experience into the work of a prosecutor. I was able to apply what I learned in the classroom to real life experiences

What I wish was different

I wish I had more time and could have been more hands on.

Advice

You get as much as you put in. Volunteer to help out and show up on time. Watch cases and ask questions!

Accounting Intern

June 2019 • San Antonio, TX

What I liked

Everyone are really nice and friendly and they're always willing to help you when you're in need of help. There's so much to do in the Auditor's Office and senior staff members will help you find more things to do when you ask for it.

What I wish was different

I don't think there's anything I would like to change about being an Accounting Intern in the Auditor's Office. It seems such a perfect job and environment to me right now.

Advice

Please don't hesitate to ask anyone a question. All of the staff here are knowledgeable of everything about the Auditor's Office. If not, they will refer you to another staff who might also know. Also, if you make a mistake, please don't panic. Be honest to your coworker you had done a mistake -- they have a solution for everything! One last thing, don't hesitate to ask for more stuff to do. There are plenty of things to do in the Auditor's Office and coworkers would appreciate the extra hand!
