They max you out at 30 hours a week. You cannot work more than that.

What I liked
I got to not only participate in research and data collection, but I was also able to shadow the surgeon I worked with in the operating room and her clinic. It was great to see so many patient-doctor interactions!
What I wish was different
I wish I'd been able to work on more things than the one project that I was assigned to.
Advice
Start looking early, and if you can try to find someone who will give you flexibility to work on what interests you most, or see things outside of the specific job you're doing.

I got this position through my previous position in the same lab but different location (Broad institute), it is not a position that was advertised. Go and actually talk to labs you're interested, regardless of their official job postings.
