It is a fulfilling job that brought me a lot of joy. You work as mentor for several children and help make sure they enjoy their summer.
What I wish was different
More recognition of the staff's problems. Sometimes it can be frustrating that you can get treated a bit like a child.
Advice
Make sure you really care because some people only, do it for the friends, only do it for the kid's fun, or only do it for the personal growth, but you need to care about all of it because it makes you more authentic and a more pleasant co-worker.
