The work-environment is very friendly and supportive. I enjoyed the tasks I was given, such as redesigning old pamphlets, flyers and maps. It provided me with insights on how large and continuously growing companies function and are maintained. Supervisors made it feel as though you were not just a new intern but a part of their team.
What I wish was different
I really have no complaints or things that I would change.
Advice
Manage your time wisely and write down and upcoming tasks, given information, and comments or critiques. Be flexible to changing things you've created.

What I liked
The culture at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies was very welcoming. Berkshire Hathaway GUARD has a great “on-boarding” program which helps integrate new employees into the company. Furthermore, coworkers were eager to aid my professional development, and my manager assigned tasks relevant to the position description.

What I liked
I liked the work i was doing. Enjoyed how fast the day went by staying busy with work. Felt appreciated by the employees that i was helping them with their job. Very open to any questions i had and were very nice to me
What I wish was different
Less hours during the week. Employees be more talkative and open to start conversations with interns

Felt like a real full time job and to manage your time wisely. Companies will appreciate your hard work and dedication if you show up everyday and have a great outlook on your job.
