The internship at the Berks County Community Foundation provided me with many benefits and exposures. I like the office environment that I was exposed too. The environment was friendly and helpful for whatever needs I or other interns needed. For me, there was the benefit of commuting short distance from home; as well as the benefit of not going in to work on Monday’s.

For anyone who is looking for an internship, do not be discouraged of exploring options that do not pertain to your exact major. This internship gave me the feel of what a nonprofit organization does and it’s importance. As an accounting major I was able to get this valuable experience.
