I wish the experience was not virtual. I wanted to meet everyone at the firm.

I would say be very open-minded and ask a lot of questions if you do not understand something.

What I liked
I worked with a range of professionals on a variety of clients and engagements. As an intern, I was actually treated as an associate-level employee. The work was interesting and challenging - not just busy work at all. I really liked that one of the managers trusted me to take the lead on an engagement while she was away for a few days.
What I wish was different
I would have liked to receive feedback throughout my internship. It would have also been helpful to me to have a designated point of contact within the firm.
Advice
Pay attention during training and orientation. There's a lot of information to digest, but it definitely comes in handy. Ask lots of questions and have conversations with the professionals on staff there. Their insight is invaluable. Most of all, have fun!

What I liked
Everyone at Berkowitz Pollack Brant is very knowledgeable and willing to teach you about the project you're currently on. Everyone is very hands on with the interns and its an amazing environment to grow in. You are not treated as an intern, but as a representative of Berkowitz Pollack Brant.
What I wish was different
As how the industry is, summer is not a very busy season, however, the projects that the interns get to work on get personalized, one to one attention from supervisors and managers.
Advice
Be hungry to learn, take on assignments, keep your word, communicate clearly, be open with your team, be accountable for your successes and mistakes, and get to meet as much of the staff as possible!

What I liked
I liked being able to apply some of my studies to an actual job and learning about the software that auditors use. Being only an intern, I enjoyed feeling a sense of importance while I did work for clients.
