I learned a lot about how a research institution works, and I got to apply my background in Internet freedom. Also, I had the opportunity to largely decide what projects to pursue and talk to interesting and accomplished people.

I wish I had had more assignments.
Advice
If you end up at Berkman Klein, realize that just about anyone affiliated with the center is at your disposal! People there are so kind and willing to answer questions or talk to you about what they do.
