The staff at Bergeson & Campbell went out of their way to make sure I was welcomed and up to speed with their programming. On my first and last days, I received kind words from so many of my colleagues. They provided a variety of work that challenged my skills and exposed me to areas of law I was unfamiliar with. This summer was truly an exceptional experience.
What I wish was different
I wish it had been in person! My employer made amazing strides for me to learn remotely this summer. However, post-COVID 19, I hope to regain in-office experience with other professionals in an amazing city.
Advice
For remote workers- keep a reliable working station, even if you don't have a desk. Make sure you always have a plan B if your wifi goes out. Additionally, check your work email at the open of business, midday, and before the close of business.
