It was a great opportunity to learn about the campaign world. Being on the ground during such a tumultuous primary was an incredible experience. My field managers kept me engaged and a part of the conversation, and my bosses were easily approachable. Got to do a little bit of everything and everyone was always welcoming of new ideas. Also got to meet a good amount of the other candidates and go to the events which were quite interesting.
What I wish was different
I would've liked a little more structure in day-to-day assignments but it was understandable as campaigns are inherently chaotic.
Advice
Come in with an open mind and definitely catch up on your political know-how beforehand.
