The people were passionate, driven to make a change, and wiling to do anything to spread the gospel and make disciples.
What I wish was different
I wish that we were able to interact with more of the city; however, due to Covid-19 we were not able to.
Advice
Be prepared to be drive, a hard-worker, and humble to learn the culture.

What I liked
I was able to help and serve even during the pandemic. I got to help plan and assist with both in-person and online events. I got to live in an apartment with other interns and form close relationships.
What I wish was different
Even though my summer was incredible, it would have been cool if I had gotten to experience the normal summer schedule.

You get out of this internship what you put in.

What I liked
Bellevue does things well and they expected us to do things well, but they showed us how to and helped us meet that standard. They create a space for growth, and truly desire to equip future ministry leaders well.
What I wish was different
This past summer, because of COVID, ministry looked very different. While I do wish I had gotten to experience a normal summer at Bellevue, I'm thankful for such a unique opportunity.
Advice
This experience grew me more than I can describe. I know the Lord is at work in Memphis, and I know that He is using Bellevue and the many others that they partner with to accomplish that work there. If you want to go into ministry, Bellevue is a great place to be equipped to do that well.
