I liked how my team gave me projects that were going to be used in key business strategies going forward. It made me feel like my work was important. Now that my internship has been extended though the fall and winter, I'm seeing my summer internship work actively being used to build business cases and develop brand strategies.
What I wish was different
Despite the remote environment, I wish I could have met my team in person at the office at least once.
Advice
Ask questions and share ideas! I learned that brand management is all about collaboration, and some of my best ideas came from talking about them out loud to my team members. Don't be shy, they like hearing what we think!
