What I liked

I was actually treated like someone who was important, not just another worker. And I had something important to do, that I felt sincerely proud to do.

What I wish was different

Less Drama between lifeguards, more serious workers. Kids that don't show up because they didn't feel like going to work today, or that weren't actually watching their water (our one main and most important job) weren't ready for holding the responsibility of someone else's life, in my opinion.

Advice

For someone that sincerely cares about others, isn't afraid of a little blood/stress, and that doesn't mind sitting in the heat all day, I would definitely recommend it. Sadly however, dealing with all three of these experiences are mandatory and daily parts of the job.
