What I liked

It was a wonderful experience! You really learn to understand how things get done in the engineering field. You get your own project and lots of avenues for support.

What I wish was different

Having your own project can make things difficult, especially when given an ambiguous problem statement, but once you explore a few avenues, you can really take ownership of your project. Also, Danaher corp really emphasizes metrics, data, and documentation, so a lot of what you do is proving your project worthwhile.

Advice

Ask questions and make sure to get feedback from others, while remembering that you have to take ownership of any action you choose to take and you will at some point have conflicting feedback.
