What I liked

I have nothing but positive things to say about my time at Beautiful I Am, Inc. (BIA). The internship program at BIA is amazing and is formatted to make sure all interns get the experience each intern thinks is beneficial to their personal learning. I also appreciated that each intern could work asynchronously and be able to work whenever their schedule allows it. As a remote intern, I felt that I was still a part of the team even though I was hundreds of miles away!

What I wish was different

Nothing!

Advice

Feel free to be yourself. BIA is an accepting place that is open to any and all positive thinkers! Tamika is a very understanding and open-minded person who truly wants the best for everyone!

I love that I am able to complete this internship remotely. Beautiful I Am works with my class and extracurricular schedule.

What I liked

Ms. Tamika was accommodating to my personal struggles and the stress that COVID placed on everyone. The BIA staff made my experience enjoyable and easy to transition into.

What I wish was different

Due to COVID, I was not able to meet Ms. Tamika and the BIA staff in person. I would have loved to finally meet them in person.

What I liked

The staff at Beautiful I Am made my experience immaculate! Everyone is so helpful and they truly want to see you succeed not only in the organization but in your college career and life. Ms. Tamika was extremely understanding through some of my obstacles I encountered in college. I honestly loved everything about the organization and internship.

Nothing, my time at Beautiful I Am was amazing!

Advice

Make the best out of your internship! The staff at Beautiful I Am will make sure that you have all the knowledge and resources needed to be successful. It is up to you to do the rest.
