I worked a lot of very difficult manual labor hours and that is very rewarding. The coworkers were also fun.
What I wish was different
I wish that we would’ve been paid overtime. Working 80+ hours in a week and getting no overtime should not be allowed.
Advice
I would recommend a lot of sunscreen because you are out in the sun all day everyday, and you need to be mature and know your place.

What I liked
I like the people I worked with a lot. This made the experience the best fore me. I also enjoyed being outside the whole summer, along with being able to take out the sea doos and boats after work.
What I wish was different
I wished that our employer spent more money on new equipment rather just spending the whole time trying to fix the unfixable.
Advice
Make sure that you work at the Marina location, it is the easiest one. Also find a friend to do it with.

Rental employee
May - September 2018 • Laketown, UT
What I liked
Great location to work. Good benefits from the company allowing us to use equipment. All the hours I could handle.
What I wish was different
A little more experienced workers. Had to deal with 18 year old's causing drama and not doing their fare share of the work.
Advice
Do it, if you don't mind working hard and being in stressful situations a lot of the time. Otherwise just stay away please.

What I liked
It was so fun to live at the lake! The coworkers became some of my best friends it was a really fun environment. I learned a lot of new skills like driving a tractor also!
What I wish was different
It’s a lot of long hours and you don’t get overtime. Expect to work 10-12 hour days 5-6 days a week. Also living in a small town groceries are very expensive.
Advice
Move in as early as possible to get the best bed space, and if your feeling burnt out focus on the fun things.

Manager
May 2016 - September 2018 • Garden City, UT
What I liked
The job itself was great. You get to spend the entire summer driving boats and other equipment. You work a lot of hours, so the pay is great!
What I wish was different
The long hours get to you by the end of the summer. Treat yourself by doing fun things on your days off!
Advice
If everyone does their part the business runs smoothly. Be prepared to work hard .
