My boss was very helpful in giving me opportunities to learn from him as well as manage tasks that gave me the chance to learn first hand.

I wish I had more responsibility and opportunities to experience first hand the business.

Advice

Be open to learn no matter how uninterested you may feel. You never know what might spark your interest in something if you do not try it.
