What I liked

I loved the independent nature of the internship! We were able to collaborate with fellow interns and plan our own schedules involving projects which was great. We were also invited to sit in on marketing meetings and e-learning platform meetings, which was super interesting.

What I wish was different

I wish we had had a more consistent meeting schedule. We often were scrambling to fit in a time each week when, if we had chosen to block off time from the beginning to meet, we wouldn't need to do so many last-minute schedule changes.

Advice

Marketing is a super big field with lots of moving parts. There are so many different aspects of projects, and it's okay to not find your personal niche right away. Go out of your way to ask to join in on other projects and events!
