Growing numbers of people are unable to afford attorneys or access to the legal system. Responding to this need, BALI is a new incubator hub for solo attorneys committed to providing affordable legal services to low and middle income clients. Local communities benefit from access to justice. Attorneys in our community benefit from shared office space, training and resources.
BALI is a community of lawyers run by the Volunteer Legal Services Corporation, the nonprofit branch of the Alameda County Bar Association, in partnership with five Bay Area law schools and the Alameda County Law Library. BALI is not a firm.
