“They give 20 percent commission for the advertising sales you make. My boss gave me a list of prospects that I could reach out to, and that helped me with understanding what kind of businesses they work with. I also like that she gave me her email information which meant that she trusted me to contact businesses on my own. I would ask for her advice, and she was always there to help me. A company asked me if I could extend the deadline, because their marketing team could not design an ad in time. I quickly designed one for them, in which they said they liked. So with that internship, it gave me the opportunity to utilize my graphic design skills to help out Athens Parent Magazine. ”
