It really stretched me to grow as a leader because I was given more responsibility and allowed to encourage and correct my team.
What I wish was different
I wish we would have been able to do more of the returns for the library since we were trained to do them quickly and pay attention to quality, and it probably took away from the librarians’ time when they had to tag them themselves.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to take on more responsibility. Chances are you are capable of more than you think, and if you have a good manager they will walk with you through the learning and mistakes.
