I loved getting to work with orphans and vulnerable children. I was truly remarkable to see their faces light up when you offered to play with them. I enjoyed all aspects from playing with the kids to wheelbarrowing concrete.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have stayed longer. It was only a one week trip, but I received a blessing from being there.
Advice
I would highly recommend going on a mission trip. It feels very rewarding to help those who are less fortunate. Also, you are making a real difference for these kids.
