What I liked

As a former collegiate athlete, being a part of a team is essential to me in hopes of any success. I love being a part of the team here at B9. This company is small enough that I have worked on projects and test procedures with every person in the office. When this company grows to triple-digit-employee numbers, I don't foresee the team chemistry depleting in any fashion. As an intern, my plate was constantly full with 3-5 projects simultaneously, which kept me moving and ensured that when I graduated that there would be work for me.

What I wish was different

Advice

I had minimal experience in 3D printing coming into this job, and NO experience or knowledge in "DLP" printing. This job has done nothing but open my eyes to additive manufacturing, and I promise to never leave this field of engineering. Now that I have my own printer at home, It seems like it might be all I think about. The team at B9 has a great communication structure with exceptional leaders. We are continually integrating ourselves into new markets and new industries on a monthly basis. In addition, the company is constantly improving in every aspect, mostly in ways that a consumer would never see - in a way that internally the workflow is as efficient as possible.
