What I liked
I liked how hands on the internship was. I was treated like a full-time financial analyst. I also enjoyed the six week training program that was integrated seamlessly with actual work. I think that was an effective way to train the interns as well as give them the most experience possible in one summer.
What I wish was different
I wish that I was on a slightly larger team or given the chance to work on other teams as well in order to experience more of a breathe of what Ayco does on a day to day basis. I also wish I had more work with the fellow interns.
Advice
Lean in to the work that you are doing and ask questions. Don't always ask your own boss those questions, but other people in the office so that you get to know them and networking will become easy.
