I loved getting to have a personal relationship with the residents while gaining clinical experience and exposure to dementia care.

What I wish was different

I wish it had been for a long duration! I think about my residents all the time and the knowledge and wisdom they gave me.

Advice

Dementia care is a difficult challenge, but if you’re devoted to caring for the elderly, the challenge is worth the reward of seeing them well.
