Performance Analyst

What I liked

There is a strong team environment at the Ohio Performance Team branch of the Auditors Office. Opportunity to learn new data analytics tools and increased knowledge of excel. High likelihood of job offer after internship.

What I wish was different

The workload was very light and the pace of work was incredibly slow. Timing is everything with this job. The workload is project-based, so no projects=no work. Most employees were working remotely, so the interns often got overlooked for taking on new tasks.

more structured projects, the dynamic of our project left us with almost 2 months of very slow downtime, then an impossible amount of work to be done in less than a week.
