What I liked

I thoroughly enjoyed the team I was a part of at Athena Camps. Everyone was very task-oriented but also friendly and welcoming. My absolute favorite part was getting to connect with elementary and middle school age girls while making a positive impact in their lives.

What I wish was different

Although the work I did was rewarding, I do believe the compensation should be greater for the amount of hours we put in every day/week to make the childrens' experiences possible.

Advice

If a person really wants to work with kids, especially females and make a positive impact, this is a great place to begin. I also enjoyed having a job where I am not sitting at a desk all day, this job is pretty active and you get some sunlight and endorphin-release while you're at it.
