The people are great. My team and boss are great people and always willing to help and teach. The environment is also incredibly relaxed and stress-free. Women outnumber men at AEM which is also a positive experience as it increase thought and behavior diversity. In that aspect, AEM is a very diverse place.
What I wish was different
I think the pay is sub-par and sometimes the interns get a really short end of the stick, but it's generally a very positive experience.
Advice
Just because you landed an internship, that doesn't mean you should stop networking. You should continue to network for other opportunities/jobs outside of your internship while also networking inside your internship. Getting to know people, finding out what connections they have and expanding your reach is vastly important.
