The people there were really nice and welcoming. I got along with the team really well and learned something new from every individual.
What I wish was different
The company was going through some shifts when I got there, so another team was doing a majority of the studies for the power grid. They struggled to find me a study but promised they would have it completely lined up for when I returned.
Advice
Talk to as many people at the company as you can. I learned just as much through casual conversations both inside and outside my team, as I did through the actual work I was doing.

What I liked
They allow you to work on your projects by yourself, but are there to help you if you do not understand something. They do not micromanage everything, and trust your that you are able to handle the job.
What I wish was different
More work to do at the beginning stages.
Advice
Always ask questions about anything and everything. This allows you to learn, as well as showing them that you care about what you are doing, and you were the right person for the opportunity.

What I liked
I liked the staff that I worked with and all of my supervisors. They were all very friendly and professional. They taught me the importance of communication in every industry, even in a field such as energy production
What I wish was different
Nothing, I enjoyed all of it.
Advice
Be ready to learn a lot. There is a pretty steep learning curve with a communications position in a technically intensive industry such as energy or power production.
