I worked with kids of all ages and it was a job in my field. It was more relaxed than a school, but prepared me for my future. I even had the opportunity to teach a class of 5 and 6 year olds!
What I wish was different
I wish I could have stayed longer. I intend on returning as a teacher.
Advice
Do not be afraid to send an update email. I did not hear back from the Arts Council until a few weeks before the job started. I reached out and demonstrated my passion for the position, which allowed me to get the job.
