I loved getting to do ride alongs with a lot of different state troopers. It gave me more of an idea on how different people handle the job.

What I wish was different

I wish the internship would have actually been a lot longer.

Advice

If you are looking to be a state trooper I would definitely do some ride alongs before the application process.
