Advice
I advice anyone pursuing an HR internship at the Archdiocese of San Antonio to come in with an open mind and not be discouraged if your'e not catholic. The Archdiocese of San Antonio has well over 3,000 active employees and is a great resource to expand on your HR experience.

What I liked
The environment was very fast paced and hands on. I gained a lot of experience and knowledge as well as built great relationships.
What I wish was different
With the pandemic all hourly staff was unfortunately laid off. I wish this would have been handled differently but I understand that important decisions were to be made during such a trying time.
Advice
It's important to have a "can do" attitude, you can learn so much from this very hands on job, and have fun!
