I liked the freedom I had during this job. Each day I was able to work at my own pace in order to complete my tasks. The company vehicles that I was given also made me feel like I was more than just an employee, but part of company. It was also fun and interesting becoming certified in multiple states for pesticide and herbicide application.
What I wish was different
I wish that in the end I could have continued working for them. Due to budget cuts they could not afford to keep all of us. I being the newest member and having the least amount of experience was the easier decision.
Advice
For those looking to go into a job like this, go in with confidence. It will be a hard adjustment at first to working on routine that takes a week to get through, but I would do it all again if I could. Confidence in yourself is key.
