AptarGroup

Manufacturing Engineering Intern

January - August 2022 • Mukwonago, WI

What I liked

Excellent company with many hands on experiences. If there is something you want to learn about Aptar or injection molding, they will make time to teach you. Everyone I worked with was amazing and truly looked out for my best interest and to teach me as much as possible.

What I wish was different

I would have enjoyed to have worked with a few more engineers on my team.

Advice

If you are self motivated, the opportunities are endless.

HR Intern

June 2022 • Crystal Lake, IL

What I liked

Everyone was very personable. They did a great job incorporating a fellow intern and I into the workspace. I was given my own cubicle that I was able to decorate and make my own. My projects varied every week and was able to work from home 2-3 times per week. Everybody I met was genuinely curious about my thoughts about the company and used them to make changes. Great work culture with high autonomy and room for error. No one was watching over my shoulder, they trust you to get your work done. I was also given tours of 2 different manufacturing sites to understand the company better.

What I wish was different

I wish there were more people in the office. It was a bit quiet at times.

Advice

Be yourself during the interviews. They are not looking for a robot to work there. They want someone they can relate to and depend on. Take advantage of their free online training programs to gain more skills while working there.
