What I wish was different
The teacher I worked with may have had a special education certification, but was not well prepared to handle to teach a population with learning disabilities and behavioral issues.
Advice
It is a great place to get experience inside a school and work 1:1 with students with disabilities if that is a population you plan to work with for a career.
