What I liked

This internship was a great way to get my foot in the door in many ways. It was my first job in a corporate office setting. It was my first taste at working in a software company, and doing sales-related work. It showed me what working at a tech company, and what doing sales, is like.

What I wish was different

When you start an internship, you really don't have a good idea of what you will be doing each and every day. I didn't know what to expect in terms of the work I would be doing. But that's the point of the internship, you are there to learn.

Advice

Explore your options! Don't discount any job listing you read. Chances are they can't explain in a short paragraph what the role is or what it's really like to work at that company. Just be open to any new experience, view every listing and application you submit as a chance to gain new knowledge and experience of some type. Every internship, job, and company has something to offer.
