This research opportunity gave me a chance to apply my four years of previous biology studies to field-work. I got to work hands-on with bluebirds and tree swallows, sampling data from them to study their populations in the Appalachian mountains.
What I wish was different
I can’t think of anything I wanted to be different.
The research collection hours were flexible and it was enjoyable to be outside all day.
Advice
Field-work and data collection can be grueling sometimes but it’s worth it. Patience is required.
