I loved how the people at APD were all so helpful in teaching me civil engineering processes in a professional way. They were all so kind and would answer any questions i had. They also gave me constructive feed back on the tasks that i was working on that really helped me learn.
What I wish was different
The only thing i would change is making site visits more common. This was difficult due to the majority of the jobs being out of state.
Advice
If you get the chance to intern at APD in any department, i would take it in a heartbeat. The care, supporting learning environment, and friendly co workers made this job internship experience so pleasant and I'm looking forward to continuing my internship over winter break.
