The way that their animals were cared for was deeply upsetting to me. They showed on many occasions that they were comfortable letting their animals be in pain (egg bound, excessive blood on eggs, dead, etc.) for prolonged periods of time for them to "take a look later".
Advice
Despite ~50 required readings (ranging from 1-10 pages) as "training", all you do is feed and clean. If you finish early, they find something else for you to clean. It's frankly miserable before you even consider the lifestyles of the animals.
