I liked being able to research equities that I was interested. I also appreciated the firm's ESG focus.
What I wish was different
i would have liked to have more interactions with senior members of the firm. I only really spent time working alongside the lead portfolio manager and never spoke to anyone else.
Advice
Become good friends with other interns. They can help you down the road and they likely share your career interests.
