Audit Co-Op Intern

August - December 2019 • Berwyn, PA

What I liked

Ametek treats all of their interns like regular employees, which means that interns participate in day-to-day audit duties with the Audit team. I was not aware of what Ametek was prior to this internship, but I am glad I took the offer as it exposed me to what an Auditor does on a daily basis, truly expanding my knowledge that will help me with future endeavors.

What I wish was different

I do not wish anything had been different. I had a great experience.

Advice

I was not aware of exactly what Auditors did on a daily basis, and this experience showed me exactly that. So, always try different jobs even if you do not know exactly what they entail. You will be able to figure it out as you go just as I did.

Engineering Intern

June - August 2018 • Wilmington, MA

What I liked

The electrical engineering part - circuit design and debugging

What I wish was different

Less typical intern work (File search, call companies for replacement parts, etc.)

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask for help. If you don't know how to do something, it's better to ask than to screw it up
