I liked the culture of Literacy KC, it's like a family. Everyone is super nice and willing to help you. Also, it's a nonprofit, so you're working towards a great cause.
What I wish was different
I only wish I was able to stay an employee longer. There were other issues that have happened at Literacy KC along the way, but I don't blame this on the organization themselves.
Advice
Just go into this experience with an open mind and be willing to learn. Everyone at Literacy KC is willing to help you and wants you to grow.
