This is the single best internship I've ever had. The staff at AU is extremely generous with their time, kind, and deeply knowledgeable. As an intern, you get to work on impactful, concrete projects, which make up the core of AU. There's no administrative nonsense you do as an intern. AU even had an intern speaker series set up for us, which I enjoyed every second of.
What I wish was different
I would have liked it to be in-person, but Covid ruins things.

What I liked
The people there are really kind and take the time to really teach you about the kind of legal work AU does. They even have cool lunches with different staff employees giving lessons on different legal concepts! And they are very kind about things like coming in 10-6 instead of 9-5 or grabbing lunch outside with other interns.
