The American-Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) is a publicly-supported not-for-profit organization committed to promoting educational, cultural and professional exchange between the United States and the Nordic countries—Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The ASF operates Scandinavia House, a cultural center located in midtown Manhattan, which offers a wide range of programs that illuminate the culture and vitality of the Nordic countries. Scandinavia House offerings include diverse exhibitions and film series, as well as concerts and other performances, readings, lectures, symposia, language courses, and children’s activities.
