I was able to gain new skills that I otherwise would have gone without. For example, I am very good at talking on the phone now and I am comfortable entering strangers' houses and making conversation. Also, I think that they have very good training and they encourage you to ask questions.
What I wish was different
I wish they offered shorter hours for internships. I loved being there and learning, but since this was not my actual job I felt myself wishing that they offered a less rigorous schedule.
Advice
Some of the people there are very obsessed with money and making a sale, even if they have to play mind games with the clients. I suggest that you just remain honest with all of the clients, especially if you want to continue working there after the internship is over because you will remain in touch with all of the people for whom you wrote a policy. It is best to establish a good relationship. Just do what ever is in the best interest for the client.
