American High specializes in high school coming of age films, having completed 15 films since they began development and production in 2017. Their first breakout feature, BIG TIME ADOLESCENCE, starring Pete Davidson, premiered at the 2019 Sundance film festival and was acquired by Hulu shortly thereafter. THE BINGE, PLAN B, CRUSH, I LOVE MY DAD, and THE ULTIMATE PLAYLIST OF NOISE are all available to stream on Hulu. The company is helmed by writer/director Jeremy Garelick (The Break-Up, The Wedding Ringer) who will give online and in-person lectures to students participating in the program and be open for FaceTime and meetings to help network and steer interns toward their goals.
