I like that hard work was noticed and appreciated.
What I wish was different
One thing that I would've liked to change would be if there was no work to be done by the interns then we should have the option to take the rest of the day off. A lot of times through out my internship experience there where times when we would sit in the office for hours with nothing to do.
Advice
If you're interested in getting your foot in the door for a career in the highly competitive athletic field, I believe interning at the Amateur Athletic Union in your sophomore year would be ideal. You have the opportunity to learn from the people within the organization who have great connections and valuable information.
